Kalabo is a District in Western Province of Zambia, situated about 75kms from Mongu the provincial capital of Western province. The district is estimated with a population of about 112,673 and a total surface area of 9,016 km2. It shares district boundaries with Mitete District in the North, Limulunga and Mongu Districts in the East, Nalolo District in the South and Sikongo District in the West. It also shares an international boundary with the Republic of Angola in the North – West.
The district is administratively sub-divided into two (2) constituencies and twenty-four (24) wards. Liuwa Constituency has 10 wards, while Kalabo Central constituency has 14 wards.Read more
