Buleya Ward: A 1×2 classroom block at Kalenga Primary School, worth K254,000, constructed using 2021 Kalabo Central Constituency – Development has been commissioned and officially handover to the community.
‘We are grateful to the government for the massive infrastructure development being witnessed, especially in rural schools. The staff houses, classroom and ablution blocks built under the community projects component of CDF are genuinely changing lives and improving service delivery,’ said the Kalabo District Education Board Secretary (DEBS), Mr. Malamo Mwangelwa, during the handover ceremony.
Council Secretary, Mr. Kamwata Pongo, reiterated that ‘the Local Authority remains committed to prudent utilization of Constituency Development Funds.’
