PROJECTS HANDOVER

11th September, 2025.

Liuwa Member of Parliment, Hon Situmbeko Musokotwane handed over 5 projects in 5 wards of his Constituency all valued at at a cost of ZMK 2, 138,285.5.

Hon Musokotwane who doubles as Finance and National Planning Minister was in his Constituency on a working visit when he handed over the projects done under the 2024 CDF funding.

Projects handed over include;
1. A 1x 3 classroom block and a staff House at Kalumbu Primary School,
2. A 1x 2 classroom block at Mukola Primary School in Libonda ward.
3. A staff House and 4 DVIP Toilets at Mulumbe Primary School
4. Rehabilitation of a classroom block and a staff House at Sikunde primary School in Likulu dundu ward.
5. 1×3 classroom block at Mushukula primary School in Likulundundu ward and a staff House at Silanda Primary School in Salunda ward.

The handed over projects will help create a condusive learning environment for the school going Children in Liuwa Constituency and the reduce the Teachers accommodation Challenges.

The Minister was accompanied by Staff from Kalabo Town Council.
