DDCC MEETING PROGRESS ON THE CASHEW NUTS PROJECT & INTRODUCTION OF A CARBON PROJECT

Today, a Special DDCC Meeting was called to discuss the progress on the Cashew nuts project and the introduction of a Carbon project to Mitigate the impact of climate change.

Officiating on the opening of the Meeting today in the Council Chamber, Kalabo Town Council Director of Human Resource and Administration Mr. Derrick Kanyamba speaking on Behalf of the Council Secretary, called on stakeholders to collaborate in the efforts to fight climate change.

The Meeting was attended by District stakeholders, the traditional leadership led by the Acting Muleta from Libonda and Officers from ETG.
