LIUWA CONSTITUENCY GETS THREE NEW (3) POLICE POSTS AND 10 RURAL HEALTH POSTS VALUED AT ZMK14, 089,712.74.

Liuwa Constituency Member of Parliament Hon Dr. Situmbeko Musokotwane has commissioned three Police Posts and 10 Health posts located in different wards of Liuwa Constituency in Kalabo District.

The Commissioned projects were done under the 2024 and part of the 2025 CDF allocation and they all have supportiñg infrastructure such as Staff Houses, water and and ablution blocks.

The newly opened police posts are Siluwe, Luola and Sishekanu while the 10 rural health centers commissioned include; Lisumpila, Nan’gole, Munde, Maoma, Mwandi, Kalumbu, Mutunda, Mukola, Libilingoma and Liuwa.

Speaking when he opened Luola Police Post, Dr. Musokotwane urged the members of the Public to protect the infrastructure against vandalism. He said Government is committed to bring development closer to the people regardless of distance.

And speaking on behalf of the Community, Luola Secondary School Head Teacher Mr. Moses Kasanda, commended Government for commissioning a Police Post in the area. He said the Police has not just come as part of development to Luola, but will help reduce crime rate in the Area that had reached alarming levels.

The Minister of Finance was also accompanied by the Minister of Health Elijah Muchima and Senior Government officials in Kalabo District.
