The Litunga of Baroetseland, His Majesty King Lubosi Imwiko II has today installed Princess Nolianga Mwanawina, daughter of His Majesty King Sir Mwanawina III as her Royal Highness Mulena Mboanjikana of Libonda Palace to oversee Kalabo and Sikongo Districts.
During a colorful event that was held in LEALUI Royal Village in Mongu, His Majesty King Lubosi Imwiko II installed the senior Chiefness in the early hours of today and handed her the instruments of Power.
Princess Nolianga Mwanawina, is the last born daughter of his Majesty Litunga late Sir Mwanawina III will lead as her Royal Highness MBOANJIKANA No. V. The event was witnessed by scores of residents of Kalabo, and other surrounding Districts in Western Province.
Speaking during an interview, Kalabo Town Council Chairperson, Mr. David Nyundu who witnessed the event in LEALUI expressed happiness at the installation of Senior Chieftainess MBOANJIKANA.
He said a lot of developmental activities that had been delayed due to the absence of the Chieftainess will now be expedited. Chieftainess Nolianga replaces Senior Chief Kandundu Yeta, who passed on in 2022.
