KALABO TOWN COUNCIL CONDUCTS STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT ON WATER TRANSPORT SAFETY AT NENGU BRIDGE

Kalabo Town Council through the Engineering Department today held a stakeholders engagement Meeting with water transport operators found at Nengu bridge.

The Meeting was aimed at create Public awareness on safety measures for water transport operators.

The assignment was carried out in conjunction with the Local Authority Fire- Marine unit and the Zambia Police Service through the Traffic and Marine sections.

The Local Authority intends to register all water transport operators and create database for easy identification and coordination in the District.
