KALABO TOWN COUNCIL ADOPTS THE POUNDAGE RATE FOR ITS VALUATION ROLL

Kalabo Town Council adopted the proposed poundage rate for its main valuation Roll. This is the first time that Kalabo Town Council will implement this initiative since inception.

The adoption of the roll was done today 24th April, 2026 during a special Council Meeting that was Chaired by the Council Chairperson Mr. David Nyundu.

After this exercise the valuation roll will be published in the National Gazzate and be produced in various print media within 7 days for verification purposes by the general public in accordance with section 15 ( 1) of the rating Act No. 21 of 2018 of the Laws of Zambia.

Further, the rating Tribunal of Zambia shall sit to consider and approve the roll.

The adopted rates are as tabulated in the table below;
