PRESIDENT HAKAINDE HICHILEMA VISITS KALABO DISTRICT ON A TOUR OF DUTY

President Hakainde Hichilema today visited Kalabo District on a tour of duty. The President touched down at Kalabo Airstrip at 09: 43 hours to a thunderous welcome.

After addressing the crowd, the President proceeded to Yuka Mission Hospital where he commissioned a Maternity annex, a Children’s ward and a Radiology Unit all constructed by the Seventh day Adventist (SDA).

Later in the afternoon, the Head of State Commissioned the Luanginga and Silanda Bridges across the Luanginga River.

The President has since appealed to residents of Kalabo to remain peaceful and to continue loving each other. The President reaffirmed his Government’s Commitment to continue delivering development to the people of Kalabo District.
